Non-Clinical Scope & Institutional Standing

01
tips_and_updates
Plain-Language Summary

We are lifestyle, cultural nutrition, and holistic wellbeing advisors. We are NOT medical doctors or emergency physicians. What we provide is guided self-reflection, not clinical medicine.

1.1 Consultative Non-Diagnostic Delineation: THEME Wellness Uganda (incorporated and registered under the Republic of Uganda Companies Act and operating in concordance with the Ministry of Health non-communicable disease wellness guidelines) provides structured decision-support, lifestyle counseling, traditional botanical awareness, and preventive stress resilience coaching. Under no circumstance shall any service, verbal dialogue, consultative summary, or software artifact provided by THEME Wellness be construed as clinical diagnosis, surgical prognosis, psychiatric intervention, or pharmaceutical dispensary.

1.2 Separation from Registered Medical Facilities: While THEME Wellness liaises with registered healthcare professionals and maintains regional community presence across 20 Ugandan hubs (including Nakasero, Jinja, Mbarara, and Gulu), THEME Wellness Hubs are dedicated spaces for unhurried reflective counseling. They do not operate surgical suites, phlebotomy pathology labs, intravenous infusion wards, or emergency resuscitative infrastructure.

1.3 Client Responsibility for Parallel Clinical Care: Clients engaging with THEME Wellness affirm that holistic consultation operates as a complementary lifestyle paradigm and agree to maintain uninterrupted care with their licensed primary care physician or hospital regarding any diagnosed chronic conditions, communicable ailments, cardiovascular disease, or psychiatric disorders.

Interpretive Nature of THINQ & Domain Profiling

02
analytics
Plain-Language Summary

Your THINQ scores, Non-Medical Domain (NMD) ratings, and Medical Domain (MD) insights are personal reflection mirrors. They indicate self-reported patterns, not blood tests or radiological proof.

2.1 Qualitative Nature of Algorithmic Indexes: The THEME Holistic Intelligence Quotient (THINQ) and associated scoring rubrics synthesize client-provided questionnaires, stress markers, dietary chronobiology, and communal balance metrics. These mathematical models are qualitative decision heuristics designed exclusively to promote self-efficacy and facilitate guided dialogue.

2.2 Distinct NMD vs. MD Demarcation:

  • Non-Medical Domain (NMD): Encompasses environmental exposure, ancestral nutritional rituals, hydration cadence, occupational fatigue, and familial connectedness. NMD observations represent supportive lifestyle education.
  • Medical Domain (MD) Holistic Observations: Encompasses self-reported symptoms, sleep fragmentation, and energy troughs. MD observations highlighted by our platform signify areas where the client is expressly advised to seek confirmatory clinical pathology with accredited allopathic diagnostic physicians.

2.3 No Warranties of Predictive Accuracy: THEME Wellness expressly disclaims any warranty that THINQ score trends predict the onset, remission, or prevention of any pathophysiological condition, tumor, infection, or mental health illness.

Regional Hub Practice & Professional Accreditation

03
verified
Plain-Language Summary

Our consultants follow strict codes under the Uganda Integrative Practitioners registry. Our 20 regional physical centers are calm spaces for reflection and community wellness dialogue.

3.1 Institutional Credentialing: All lead practitioners, wellness guides, and dietetic facilitators operating within the THEME network hold standing under the National Registry of Integrative Practitioners (Uganda Registration UG-REG #4829) and conform to statutory continuing education mandates.

3.2 Unhurried Intake Covenant: Consultations conducted at any of our 20 Regional Hubs (Kampala, Jinja, Entebbe, Mbarara, Fort Portal, Gulu, Arua, Mbale, etc.) adhere to the "Unhurried Sanctuary Protocol." Sessions are calibrated to allow dignity, deep active listening, and holistic contextualization. Hub facilitators are strictly forbidden from selling unlicensed proprietary remedies or claiming miraculous curative therapies.

3.3 Traditional Botanical Respect & Safety: Recommendations addressing local East African botanicals (e.g., Moringa, Warburgia ugandensis, Hibiscus sabdariffa) serve exclusively as traditional dietary awareness. Clients taking pharmaceutical regimens (e.g., hypertensive therapies, ARVs, hypoglycemics) must inform their medical doctor before integrating botanical extracts to prevent herb-drug interactions.
